Aarya Manch in progress in Jhansi — a single platform holding the breadth of the district's entrepreneurial ecosystem.

On 18 June 2026, Development Alternatives organised a District Entrepreneurship Coalition (DEC) and Aarya Manch in Jhansi bringing together over 40 participants spanning entrepreneurs, financial institutions, government departments, women-led enterprises, and development organisations.

The DEC is a district-level convergence platform designed to draw different actors in the entrepreneurial ecosystem into structured dialogue: financial institutions, government stakeholders, community enterprises, and support organisations. Rather than operating in parallel silos, these actors are brought into the same room to co-create solutions for a more robust local economy. In Jhansi, representatives from Khadi Gramodyog, UP Prathama Gramin Bank, Haqdarshak, Subrato Automobiles, and Indian Village Natural Masala participated alongside women entrepreneurs and block-level mission managers — sharing information on government schemes, credit access, market linkages, agriculture-based enterprises, and sustainable technologies.

Running alongside the DEC was the Aarya Manch — a multi-stakeholder platform specifically designed for the Safe Mobility ecosystem. It brought together e-rickshaw entrepreneurs and vendors with RTO officials, traffic police, and District and Block Mission Managers to collectively identify and address the regulatory, operational, and livelihood challenges that individual entrepreneurs cannot resolve alone. Safe Mobility is a systemic intervention - one rooted in deep listening, community co-design, and the belief that women, when given the right ecosystem, become powerful Agents of Change.

The intersection of the two platforms in a single event carries its own significance. Where the DEC addressed the breadth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, the Aarya Manch worked the depth of the Safe Mobility Initiative. Together, they modeled what district-level ecosystem activation can look like when platforms are stacked with intent for knowledge sharing and building institutional relationships.
