The 22nd edition of Green Cementech 2026 was held on 14–15 May 2026 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre. Organized by Confederation of Indian Industry through the CII Green Business Centre in partnership with the Cement Manufacturers' Association, the conference focused on advancing sustainable and low-carbon cement manufacturing practices. The event brought together more than 400 industry delegates, policymakers, researchers, technology providers, and sustainability experts from across India and abroad under the theme “Road towards Net Zero Carbon.”

The DA team actively participated in the conference and had the opportunity to engage with several distinguished dignitaries and industry leaders from the cement sector. During the event, the team showcased its work on LC3 (Limestone Calcined Clay Cement), highlighting its potential in reducing carbon emissions while ensuring sustainable and cost-effective construction solutions. The presentation and interactions received an overwhelmingly positive response from participants and experts. The team was especially encouraged by the appreciation and accolades received from E R Raj Narayan, Co-Chairman of Green Cementech 2026, recognising the impactful contribution of DA’s efforts towards the industry’s sustainability and net-zero goals.

The conference featured insightful discussions on key industry priorities including decarbonisation and net-zero strategies, carbon capture technologies, AI and digitalisation in cement plants, energy efficiency, waste heat recovery, alternative fuels, circular economy practices, and smart manufacturing technologies. The event also served as a major platform for collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange among stakeholders driving the future of green cement and sustainable infrastructure.
