Under the Integrated Village Development (IVD) Project in Rudraprayag, two inauguration and stakeholder engagement events were organised at Falai and Basti villages on 23 and 26 May 2026, respectively. The events marked the completion of Phase I of the project and provided an opportunity for stakeholders to review progress achieved over the past year.

The event at Falai was inaugurated by Mrs. Niharika Tomar, Superintendent of Police, Rudraprayag, alongside Mr. Axay Bharadwaj, Plant Head, ReNew. The event at Basti was attended by Mr. Ajay Kumar Choudhary, Chief Education Officer, Rudraprayag, representatives from the ReNew CSR team, Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) members, community representatives, teachers, women self-help groups (SHGs), and local residents.

The gatherings showcased interventions undertaken across the four key components of the IVD Project: Education, Infrastructure Development, Livelihood Enhancement, and Enterprise Development. School visits enabled stakeholders to review infrastructure upgrades and educational improvements, while project presentations highlighted key achievements and community impact generated during Phase I.

Women SHG members displayed a range of locally produced enterprise products, including incense sticks, mushrooms, and organic sweets, demonstrating the growing success of women-led enterprises and livelihood diversification efforts in the region.

Beyond inaugurating completed interventions, the events served as platforms for reflection, dialogue, and future planning. Stakeholders assessed project outcomes, shared feedback, and explored opportunities for strengthening community development initiatives. Dignitaries appreciated the commitment of the project team and community institutions and expressed their support for continued collaboration to deepen and sustain development outcomes across Rudraprayag.
