Technical session and progress at the National Exhibition-cum Technical Meet held at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi
Development Alternatives (DA), through its Resource Sustainability and Sustainable Enterprise groups, participated in the National Exhibition-cum Technical Meet held on 18 March 2026 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. Organised under Mission सह-SANKALP (Science and Advanced Networks for Knowledge-driven Action for Livelihood Promotion), the event brought together key stakeholders working at the intersection of science, technology, and rural livelihoods.
Spearheaded by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser, with the Department of Science and Technology (DST) as the nodal agency, the Mission aims to strengthen rural livelihood systems by leveraging publicly funded science and technology innovations.The event also marked the launch of the Mission’s Resource Book and served as a platform to showcase deployment-ready technologies with strong potential for scale and integration into government programmes, contributing to resilient and self-reliant livelihoods aligned with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
At the exhibition, DA presented a portfolio of sustainable and scalable technologies, including DA’s when TARA, innovation like, TARA Briquetting Technology, TARA Fly Ash Bricks, Jal TARA water testing and filtration solutions, TARA Micron Roofing Tiles, TARA Paving Blocks, and the TAP-RISE Technology Booklet. These solutions reflect DA’s focus on resource efficiency, circularity, and decentralised infrastructure for rural development.
The participation enabled meaningful engagement with policymakers, project investigators, and implementing agencies, opening up pathways for collaboration, technology deployment, and scale. The event reinforced DA’s role as a key enabler of innovation-driven solutions that advance sustainable livelihoods and support the transition towards resilient rural economies.
