The Udyogini Women Entrepreneurship Summit 3.0 served as a strategic platform to strengthen market-readiness and sustainability of women-led rural enterprises. Women from tribal and remote regions often produce diverse goods but remain confined to informal markets due to limited access to branding, packaging, customer insights, and formal market channels. The summit addressed these gaps through practical exposure to business planning, product positioning, quality standards, and market engagement, enabling entrepreneurs to transition from subsistence to scalable enterprises.

A key highlight was the participation of Udyam Utthan Samiti, the Special purpose vehicle of the Lac & NTFP (Non-Timber Forest Produce) cluster from Gumla, Jharkhand, represented under the nodal guidance of Indian Micro Enterprises Development Foundation (IMEDF) and implemented by Udyogini. Their presence foregrounded tribal women entrepreneurs and demonstrated how inclusive value chains can strengthen the broader Inclusive Entrepreneurship Ecosystem. By showcasing lac-based and forest-produce enterprises, the cluster illustrated pathways for climate-resilient livelihoods and community-led enterprise development.

The summit brought together entrepreneurs, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), mentors, buyers, and technical experts to foster peer learning, buyer–seller interactions, and collaborative problem solving. It also introduced Udyogini’s upcoming Section 8 distribution platform to enable product standardization, sustained market access, and business services for collectives. Overall, the event enhanced visibility of women-led and tribal enterprises, generated market linkages, and reinforced the role of ecosystem convergence in promoting resilient, inclusive, and market-oriented rural entrepreneurship.
