Development Alternatives, in collaboration with local communities, has successfully rejuvenated 91 ponds across 74 villages in three states, namely, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. This transformative initiative has substantially enhanced water storage capacity and strengthened water conservation efforts in these regions, promoting sustainable development and climate resilience. Playing a pivotal role in the direct implementation of this project, Development Alternatives also provided strategic support and influence to drive similar initiatives by other organisations.
