T aking the lead in disseminating building material technologies, TARA, as part of Development Alternatives, has over 28 years of experience in promoting the Vertical Shaft Brick Kiln (VSBK) technology and spearheaded the intervention in South Africa and Malawi. It is also the India Project Lead for the technology transfer introducing LC3 (low carbon cement) initiatives across Egypt, Malawi, Senegal, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Rwanda, Cameroon, Thailand, Sri Lanka and the Fiji Islands.
