The Jobs We Create monograph comprises extensive research on the entrepreneurship ecosystem in rural India and its impact on India's job crisis. It captures the work undertaken by the Work 4 Progress team on what constitutes an essential first step in a process of systemic innovation - to understand the inter-connectedness between problems.
Globally, climate change is manifested through rise in temperature levels, recurring droughts and floods, melting glaciers, sea-level rise etc. Thus climate adaptive practices are the need of the hour. This report describes case studies on community based conservation and climate change adaptation from seven community based flood management states of India.
India made the CSR provision mandatory through its Companies Act, 2013. Over the last 4 years, many large and innovative projects with strategic vision have been designed. Several companies can now easily aid and enable India’s achievement of its specific SDG targets by ensuring that their CSR mandates are synced to these. Manisha Mishra, shares how the DA Group is working on making sure that such mapping between the CSR policy and the other development related missions, schemes and goals is done at the project design stage, so that potential for further continuous development could be unleashed.
