Community Rozgar Mela, Madhya Pradesh Dainik Jagran, Desh Bandhu | 24 Apr 2018
The Community Rozgar Mela, organised by the DA Group on 23rd April 2018, was covered on several media platforms. The mela spread awareness on employment and its related aspects, built the capacity of youth to link them with suitable livelihoods, and recruited them on the spot.
DA conducted two training workshops, 'Adaptation of New/Existing Technologies: CSEB and Concrete Block Production Training' and 'Adaptation of New/Existing Technologies: Pine Shingle, Timber Trusses and Timber Treatment Training' from 26th to 29th March and 2nd to 7th April 2018, in Kamad Village (Dunda Block, Uttarkashi District) and Forest Research Institute Campus (Dehradun, Uttarakhand), respectively. This media coverage has captured the trainings conducted under the DST TIMELEARN Project.

Solution to Farmer Woes – FPOs
This video brings to light the various challenges a small holder farmer has to face - weather impacts, lack of access to market and information, water woes, unstable incomes, and so on. In this situation of crisis, the development of Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) shows a silver lining - not only in terms of sustainable agriculture, but also for doubling incomes and transforming the lives of farmers.
Participatory Governance in Action
Bundelkhand used to be trapped in a vicious cycle of poverty & backwardness, weak governance & low people's participation systems, and voicelessness of marginalised people. DA transformed this situation of distress by adopting its 4As approach. It created an organised and empowering system of participatory governance - one trusted by all sections of the society - ushering in a 'Shubh Kal' or a better tomorrow.
Resource Efficiency: C&D Waste in India
This video showcases how DA has been providing technical support and market development assistance to Ahmedabad Enviro Projects Private Limited, with an objective of up-scaling the processing and utilising of Construction & Demolition (C&D) waste in India, under the "Fostering Resource Efficiency and Sustainable Management of Secondary Raw Materials in India" project, with GIZ as the implementation partner.
