      A health camp was organised 
      on July 23 at Sunkwa village. Around 60 families from Sahariya community 
      and others participated and got treatment and counselling. 
A Gender Workshop was organised at 
      Shaktibhairav in which 52 women participated. 
      In an exposure visit to 
      Sanchi, MP, self help group strengthening programmes were organised. Two

      Livelihood Security Enhancement and Income Generation Activities was 
      conducted from August 2-11 at TARAgram Orchha, Madhya Pradesh for NSO and 
      PNGO functionaries under Uttar Pradesh Participatory Forest Management and 
      Poverty Alleviation Project funded by Japan International Cooperation 
      Agency (JICA). It was attended by 33 participants.  |  |

    Ten Days Training of Trainees on Integrating 
    Climate Change Adaptation in Development Planning was organised by Deutsche 
    Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) under project Climate 
    Change Adaptation in rural areas from July 26 to August 4. DA participated 
    and will be imparting training to the stakeholders at national, state, 
    district and local levels.
      A field visit was 
      undertaken for ground truthing for GIS based planning under Integrated 
      Watershed Management Programme supported by the Government of Madhya

    Village core 
    committees have been formed in 96 out of 100 selected villages under 
    Development Marketplace-Rural Reality Show (DM-RRS) project. The committees 
    have six people chosen from the Sarpanch, the Sachiv, Anganwadi workers, 
    Asha workers , teachers, religious leaders, postmen, youth group members and 
    volunteers. The Shubh Kal Van launched on August 25 has covered 76 villages 
    of the targeted 100 villages for creating awareness on adaptation to climate 
    change.
      The functional literacy programme TARA Akshar is being 
      imparted to 500 Saharya tribal women in Sheopor District in Madhya
