Peer learning workshops: The Seventh State Peer Learning
Workshops were held across the PACS states
in the months of August and September 2006.

September 12-14
The agenda for the Peer Learning Workshops had some common
elements across all the six states. Intense discussion and
planning took place on monitoring implementation of National
Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme and National Rural Health
Mission, Child Rights and Right to Education, Right to food,
Dalit Rights and Mainstreaming Disability. State specific
issues were also deliberated upon.
Training
Systems Group (TSG)
TSG under the UNDP TAHA (Trafficking & HIV/AIDS) project has
initiated Participatory Livelihood Assessment
study in 210 villages in 21 districts belonging to the
three states of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The
study also covers Bundelkhand districts of Chattarpur and
Sagar and it offers a good opportunity to study the
livelihood options present therein.

technology in Niwari block, Sept 27-29.

have started candle making
