Live demonstration
We
strive to build capacity through on the job training of masons,
supervisors and material producers. TNK, Bangalore is proud of
generating about 1 lakh mandays of employment over its 5 years of
operation. We have taken the appropriate technologies to most
difficult terrains like Marathawada and Malnad and have proven the
suitability and appropriateness. Our main asset is the
responsiveness and satisfaction of our clients .
The year 1996 was a busy year with major achievements. We have
completed a prestigious project for the Dharmadhikari of The Temple
Trust of Dharmasthsala. We also provided design and project
management consultancy for a farm house construction. The highlights
of the above projects are as under:
Consultancy for Construction of Farm House at Sarasu Farm,
Doddagubbi for Mrs. Leela Gulati
Prof. Mrs. Leela Gulati, of Centre for Development Studies in
Trivandrum approached us for taking up construction of her farm
house at Sarasu farm situated approx. 15 kms from Bangalore on
Doddagubbi road. She had, prior to this, constructed a hall with
toilet and rear yard with size stone masonry and RCC filler slab
roof. She wanted an extension of this house with separate bed room
and drawing and dining room with a kitchen and wide verandah on both
side. Our consultancy was limited to only design and supervision.
Design Brief
The farm house has a living room, dining room, kitchen, bed room and
verandah. The entrance is approached through a big verandah in
front leading to the living room which has big french windows and
is built with seating arrangement. A beautiful stone archway
separates the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is an open type
not enclosed on all sides, has a big serving counter towards living
room; and by archway towards dining room.

clients needs. Internal services of electricity, water supply
and sanitary provided adequately. |
The work has been completed and handed over.
