ISRO/VRC Network

The VRC (Village Resource Centre) programme is meant for reaching the benefits of space technology directly to  the communities at the grass root level. At present a total of 45 VRCs (including 4 expert centres) are functional under the DA network. These VRCs are divided under three networks namely Bihar DA network, MP-UP network, UP DA network. In the last year approximately 275 programmes were telecast on Agriculture, Health, IT education, Advocacy, Women Empowerment, Games, Quiz and General Awareness, NREGA to all the three networks of MP-UP, Bihar and UP.
