Role: Manager (Communication for Social Development Sector)

Experience: 4 - 5 Years
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversees and coordinates the continuous, multifaceted daily operations of the radio station, ensuring compliance with broadcast standards, university policies, and relevant federal and state laws and regulations.
• Participates in the developing communication for development proposals, hold strong understanding on behaviour change communication, experience in communication strategy designing and project implementation.
• Monitor and evaluates program effectiveness and effects changes required for improvement.
• Provides advice and assistance to senior management in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of modification to existing operations, systems, and procedures.
• Develops and implements systems to maintain records on station operations, license renewal, and compliance activities; prepares regular and ad-hoc reports.
• Researches and makes recommendations to management pertaining to acquisition of operating equipment; participates in the development and management of annual operating budgets of the community radio station.
• Plans, designs, establishes, and maintains organizational structures and systems that enable radio team members to effectively accomplish the organization's mission, goals, and objectives.
• Assigns, allocates work, and generally oversees volunteer personnel engaged in continuous station operations; performs recruitment, training, scheduling, retention, problem resolution, and performance management.
