    We are currently looking for Senior Manager who will be responsible for conceptualizing and formulating strategic initiatives and projects that further the vision and mission. The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading the women entrepreneurship program area, where they will be specifically involved in the following deliverables:

    Project and operations management with partners

    • Design program delivery mechanisms and support communication to the client.
    • Communication and coordination with field activities for ensuring smooth delivery.

    Innovation of tools, process for delivery of enterprise support and prototypes

    • Build new tools and processes, specifically those that improve enterprise support services and building the entrepreneurial ecosystem for women.
    • Support the co-creation of new prototypes that enable shaping of the ecosystem at the district level and build convergence with existing infrastructure including local institutions.
    • Enhance women driven enterprise support services.
    • Collaborating initiatives with partners.

    Strengthen and scale existing prototypes

    • Support and enhance existing systemic prototypes that build women entrepreneurship like micro credit facility, brave spaces.
    • Documentation of the learning to shape strategy for taking the prototypes forward including system mapping.
    • Support conceptualization of scale out strategy of the systemic and enterprise prototypes.

    Knowledge development and transference

    • Package the processes, knowledge and learning in forms of process manuals, toolkits, technical reports and narratives for external transference
    • Be responsible for secondary and field research, developing new social innovation methods and incorporate learning into knowledge products and Communication

    In order to support micro-entrepreneurs, the Development Alternatives Group has established the Indian Micro Enterprises Development Foundation (IMEDF) as the Special Purpose Vehicle. IMEDF strives for unleashing entrepreneurship through retail and digital platforms under udyaME brand. IMEDF is also the nodal agency for the Ministry of MSME’s SFURTI scheme.

    With the booming tech based solutions in different sectors, and concurrent penetration of internet in rural India, it is evident that grassroots problems can be addressed using tech platforms. The udyaME platform (udyame.in) is a mobile app as well as a website to unleash micro-entrepreneurship by catering to all unmet demands of the entrepreneur under one umbrella. Aligned to Development Alternatives’ larger vision of creating rural prosperity, udyaME envisions to take the first movers advantage into the untapped and underserved market comprising of 63 million micro enterprises across the nation. This role involves supporting micro enterprises through udyaME platform. Responsibilities are as under:

    • Understand the rural micro-entrepreneur's needs and align the product roadmap to those needs.
    • Anchor the roll-out of marketing and sales strategy for enterprise support services products and network development of ‘udyaME' digital platform.
    • Build partnerships with stakeholders and strengthen the ‘udyaME’ brand.
    • Own and drive the business numbers of products.
    • Formulate and deploy business transformational strategies to increase performance, profitability & business growth.
