However, the village struggles with the lack of adequate medical and school facilities, lack of job opportunities, crop damage by wildlife and changing rainfall patterns, reduced availability of good seeds, and low agricultural produce market value. Devalsari Environment Protection and Technology Development Society have witnessed the local community's struggles with first-hand experience by working closely with nature and locals and thus established the society that aims to promote village-linked livelihoods while conserving the area's natural resources retaining its traditional and cultural practices.
