Greening India's Growth through Alternative Technologies

The future economic growth also poses the challenge of the availability of natural resources and of pursuing development without degrading the environment. Dr. Soumen Maity highlights four recently developed technologies that can provide an example to enterprises in defining eco-friendly ways of doing business and increasing the life of natural materials.

This video gives an overview of the Eco-Kiln technology. It is a cleaner technology to manufacture bricks. Development Alternatives has been instrumental in introducing this technology in Malawi, Africa. With the potential to cut 30% carbon emissions and save up to 50% natural resources, the technology offers a lot of scope to successfully combine economic progress and sustained development.
