It points towards good practices that have positive results on ground and have possibilities for replicability and scalability at various levels, through interventions and policy implementation.

Market Study on C&D Waste Utilisation

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) is one of the first cities to successfully implement model for management and utilisation of Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste into making new building products. This report provides an analysis and evaluation of the C&D waste management scenario in Ahmedabad, and proposes suitable strategies to enhance its processing and utilisation.

Building Sustainable Communities

"Synergistic Action for Accelerated Impact" by Chitrangna Dewan (Senior Manager, DA)

Micro businesses are the backbone of today’s economies and their growth is of great importance for job creation and economic welfare. In India, there are approximately 1.5 million registered MSMEs, out of which 94 per cent are micro enterprises. The Work 4 Progress (W4P) program of "la Caixa" Foundation in partnership with DA aims to promote employment in developing countries by expanding economic opportunities for youth and women who have difficulties in accessing enterprise solutions.
