"Towards a Green & Inclusive India" by Shruti Issar (Manager, DA)

On the occasion of World Environment Day, June 5, 2018, of which India is the global host, representation of voices from the ground of varied stakeholders - civil society, businesses and community based organisations - is instrumental in driving the transition to a green, fair and inclusive economy. Despite positive trends in government policy, industry and business practices, the transition to a Green Economy still remains a niche discourse in India, and therefore, people of all ages and skills are central as ownership gives way to stewardship. This transition can catalyse significant changes in economic behaviour, providing an environment for the emergence of new service, leasing, sharing and collaborative models towards green and inclusive systems.

TARA Akshar+ Gyan Chaupali Trainings | Media Coverage | May 2018

Media has covered the ongoing literacy classes of the TARA Akshar+ programme. This programme has become highly successful, owing to its use of advanced learning and memory techniques for enabling functional literacy of rural women in just 56 days, followed by Gyan Chaupali classes for six months.
