The government has launched "Jal Shakti Abhiyan" as part of the initiative to accelerate water harvesting and conservation. To discuss this Business Television India (BTVI) organised a panel discussion on Jal Shakti Drive For New India. Dr K. Vijaya Laksmi, Vice President, Development Alternatives, emphasised on the need for an action plan to use water as one unit on the show.

National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship: A Critique
Considered as one of the flagship programmes of the Government of India, the National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, 2015, has often been reviewed as a policy of ‘high ambitions delivering low results’. Why has the Government of India been unable to meet its annual targets set by various ministries and departments in this sphere? The authors throw light on this critical question and suggest some practical things that need to be done to address the gaps in the implementation of this policy.
