Assessing Existing Resources and Practices Related to Water and Waste Management

Project Prakriti, a 2-year commitment between DA and Hindustan Unilever Limited, aims to solve the waste and water crisis in two villages of Nalagarh block in Himachal Pradesh by managing waste effectively, conserving water resources and providing safe drinking water to all. The state generates 365 tons of waste per day, and only 40% of it is properly managed with rainfall deficit exacerbating the problem of securing drinking water. Read More...

Driving Sustainable Finance Reforms for Local & Green Enterprises

This contextual financial analysis report strategically analyses the sustainable finance architecture in the agriculture and allied sector in Bundelkhand (Madhya Pradesh), the tourism sector in Mandi (Himachal Pradesh), and the construction sector in the State of Bihar. The objective of the report is to assess the effect of financing (or lack thereof) on the enterprises. The learnings from this analysis are envisaged to feed into dialogues around the green economy and financial reforms at state, national, and international levels.

The initiatives undertaken at the farm level and landscape level are being upscaled, building long term sustainability of climate resilient agriculture systems in Bundelkhand.
